CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION

The CLE Committee sets up all seminars by determining seminar topic, location, speaker & coordinating with NALA for approval for all seminars offered by CFPA.

PARALEGAL REGULATION & ETHICS

Chaired by the NALA Liasion, this committee is the point of contact for issues
regarding regulation and ethics within the organization.

The membership committee maintains the membership roster, issues membership delinquency notices, and oversees updates to the membership/renewal applications.

The student relations committee provides outreach to area schools that provide legal courses and degrees by making visits, presentations, and acting as a point of contact for student members.

The Elections Committee oversees the annual election
of the Board of Directors and any other special election throughout the year.
DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion)

Diversity is the presence of differences within a given setting. Equity is the act of ensuring that processes and programs are impartial, fair and provide equal possible outcomes for every individual. Inclusion is the practice of making people feel a sense of belonging at work.

FCP is a non-trademark indicator that the paralegal has met the requirements of the Paralegal Association of Florida for Florida specific laws and has obtained the designation as a Florida Certified Paralegal.
